Clue – A New Comedy at CIBC Theatre

We'll be trying to promote a play without throwing in too many clues that turn into spoilers! Here goes nothing. One of the key parts of the board game, which is what most members of the audience know the name from, has to do with the different scenarios that could've all taken place, which led to the demise of one of the characters. The way that these various scenarios are incorporated into the playscript is super intriguing all the way through. It helps generate the tone for the entire show. That's a hard thing to achieve with Clue because, ultimately, it's a story about a crime scene, but the core of it is that it's a comedy. Sorry about that "spoiler," but then again, if you didn't know this, then maybe you are going to experience a few more surprises on Wednesday 19th February 2025 in Chicago. The new comedy show, Clue is a family-friendly affair. The setup of this new version of an all-time classic story makes it very appealing, even for the younger members of the family. Since the story reboots itself over and over again, imagining different potential stories, you won't lose sight of what's taking place on stage, even if you put your attention elsewhere at some point. It's also not a musical, so don't expect any of the characters to out of nowhere start singing. However, they may or may not do so just to make fun of the traditional musical format. It's a witty all-around show that may leave you with some doubts at the end of the night. Was the scenario that you would've believed the one that actually happened? Finding a good seat within CIBC Theatre is essential to enjoying the show. Try to find a place in the middle of the theater and a few rows back.
